he is not wrong tho.. chinese anime are being ridiculed.. allot of them have huge potential but also huge problems, animation might be cheap or the pacing wacky or useless bantering or unoriginal antagonists and so on.. even good ones like swallowed star makes mistakes in how they approach some things.. this battle for instance, it takes way too much time in the grand scheme of things not to mention the whole reason for it is contradictory to the whole purpose of battle gods existence.. they kill themselves for resources while the common enemy is sill lurking not to mention unknown enemies.. at any rate this is in my opinion due to chinese studios lack of experience and sometimes greed. maybe 5-10 years from now their whole industry will gain that exp and deliver trully quality content altho i personally doubt it very much since they would need to abandon allot of their greed and that is kind of contradictory to their nature as bussinesses.. its complicated and difficult to predict and i hope im wrong. In the meantime in my opinion only one chinese show is (so far) flawless Fanren :) (i might be biased) but on top of an awesome MC, interesting story and animation they actually managed to deliver feelings which is usually utterly lacking in all other chinese shows

I like Fanren also, but I think they should do more episodes. But at least this does better in comparison to Xue Ying. Its predecessor, but stellar transformation is not as stretched like this

When they drop all the dime-a-dozen useless shit stories that noone even watches, then they can pool more resources to focus on producing the 'good ones' with the best character designs and best animation quality as possible. that will do them a huge favor in raising the popularity of donghuas in general (and their profit margins by extension) and getting a bunch more of new readers/watchers invested. but for now it seems like their ego overrides their smarts; let's hope they can prove us wrong over time tho...

thats one way to do it for sure.. altho i cant say im an industry guru to know for sure :)).. chinese shows lack many things but most of all is that their industry is young and allot of things they simply dont know how to do or maybe its something they dont care about due to their circumstances with all the comunism and censorship idk or maybe cultural differences. my personal take is that its lack of know how.. like for instance japanese media has a knack for delivering stories/feelings/ideas in the most simple way possible like the process of stylising a picture, most info the artist considers useless is eliminated while only the most important things get delivered ..this way the message is allot more powerful. For us its common sense cause we live in an interconnected world where its supper easy to learn and know pretty much anything even if you're not part of the advertising industry or even if you dont know about semiotics and all that you are aware of the end result, i believe that their advertising industry is not as big in china so from that some things are not derived from it. I digress. Chinese media is focusing on details that simply dont matter that much, like these perfectly modeled characters that are gorgeous to look at while the story they tell is boring and unoriginal while the japanese draw very simple characters that somehow can tell so much more for some reason its a mystery :)). Im super amazed sometimes how an anime can make me cry or laugh or hate or whatever they are trying to deliver, while donghuas very rarely can make me feel anything.. as an excercise try to think of the best villain in a donghua. personally i cant find one cause to me it feels like they are all the same. sry for the wall of txt :P

Babata is a very very advance AI more advance than most AI, that it became a consciousness that sounds like you're talking to a very intelligent being. And it became Luo Feng companion/helper till Luo Feng became an UNDYING then Luo Feng became very much capable himself
